The spectator shuffles again, and still the performer continues with his mind-numbing display. The demonstration is bought to a conclusion with a card the spectator merely thinks of being revealed.

This is probably one of the best self working card effects of all time (right up there with "Out of this World").
Watch the Youtube video to get an idea how impossible this looks to an audience.
This effect not only fools lay people but has fooled many knowledgeable Magicians as well.
The complete presentation and method are meticulously explained in the ebook.
Very rarely have I seen an effect explained in such detail.
I truly believe that this effect is to this generation what "Out of this World" was to the last.
This effect is destined to become a classic.

If one were to observe many of the reviews on this site, you will notice that a vast majority of them are between 4-5 star ratings. There is a reason for that - the material available on this site is top-notch because Andi, Joshua and the rest of the crew really do sift through a lot to try and pick what they believe is some of the very best material. In turn, they offer it to their customers.

In my opinion they do a great job at it, especially since it is a wild guessing game. That is, trying to guess as to the tastes of a broad range and base of customers of all skill levels. Not an easy task.

That said, Henry Sugar is right up there with the other 5 star products. There is no reason at all that anyone should not be able to do this effect as far as methodology is concerned, given the proper practice. The principle at work here is not new by any means, but it is utilized in a clever way and it works very well. In fact, it can be done with other types of cards, not just playing cards per-se.

I have had this for enough time to be able to practice it and use it in a couple of parlour performances and it absolutely floored everyone because it is so clean and very direct. If you do this right, there are a few different ways that you can play this piece. If you want to get a sense of just one of those ways, check on YouTube for a video of Liam Montier doing this effect. I just happened to stumble across it myself a while ago, but only after I had already purchased this PDF.

Everything is well-covered in the PDF as far as the instruction is concerned and I cannot think of anything that was left out.

Practice this well and you will have an absolutely fantastic piece of direct mentalism at your disposal!
