I often hesitate to recommend this book to others, since it contains so
much good stuff! My ego makes me want to keep it to myself.
Peter Duffie has collected magic from some of Scotland's greatest
magicians, and the rumor that Scots are greedy do not show in these
pages. It seems as though some of the best magic is being shared in
this book, and I am really happy to own it.
It's a considerably thin book (126 pages), but the material within
is of great quality. 10 magicians have contributed three items each,
and the material ranges from cards and coins to safety pins and corks.
The legend Gordon Bruce presents a really convincing false shuffle in
this book, and Walter "Sonny" Day has a very clean version of
"Chink-a-chink" that I use frequently. You will also find material from Roy Walton, R. Paul Wilson and Peter Duffie amongst others.
