An organic new approach to the classic Mystery Box plot.

"Party Time" by Adrian Vega allows you to perform nearly everything you could do with a standard Mystery Box—from open predictions to the classic signed card to impossible location. Except now, instead of using something that looks like a magic prop, "Party Time" covers the folded card with a shot glass. That means it's in full view from the beginning.

Imagine showing a card, folding it in quarters clearly, and leaving it under the shot glass. Now, you do your favorite routine with a signed card, and end it showing that the folded card is impossibly now the signed card. This is a truly powerful piece of card magic.

But, that's only the start for "Party Time". In the included instructions, Adrian Vega also shows you a variety of other different ideas and handlings. He even discusses ways to use paper predictions, folded bills and more.

This organic and visual magic comes ready to go. In fact, Adrian has also included two gimmicks, one in red and one in blue, so you don't have to worry about picking a color to match your playing cards.

"'Party Time' ticks all of the boxes; It's organic, impossible and looks like trick photography. This is the closest thing to real magic. Let's party!" Joel Dickinson

  • Ben asks: Could I perform this on a bright red close up pad?

    • 1. Jim answers: It is possible, but you would have do a bit of DIY arts and crafts work.

  • Tom asks: Does this include the shot glass? Is the shot glass itself gimmicked? They mention card gimmicks which leads me to believe that this is reliant on sleight of hand and that the shot glass is not gimmicked (even if provided). I'm trying to determine if we're paying $35 for two card gimmicks and the shot glass is really irrelevant because you could borrow one from a bartender in an impromptu situation.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: You receive everything you need including the (ungimmicked) shot glass.
