No Sense - magic
No Sense No Sense No Sense No Sense No Sense No Sense

"No Sense" is a coin effect of the finest caliber. Not only is the magic outstanding, with three coins changing, but the presentation is funny, calling attention to an essential truth: that most coin magic makes no sense.

What you get is a memorable and visual effect: three half dollar coins change, one by one, into three different objects: a Chinese coin, a copper coin, and a button (yes, really!). But the whole is so much better than the sum-total of the parts. "No Sense" is a complete package: the technique, the presentation, the original plot.

Better still, EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS INCLUDED with "No Sense": Three gimmicked coins, Vanishing Inc's original brand of Chinese Coin, plus a protective carry case. Creator Kyle Littleton takes you through the method in extreme detail so that you can perform this stunning routine with confidence.

If you're looking for a striking opening effect that doesn't use a table and grabs the attention of your spectators, look no further than "No Sense."

“This is the only coin trick I actually like. I've always been a card guy but looks like I am now a card guy that does one coin effect.” Ryan Schlutz

“New and novel plots in coin magic are rare. What Kyle has created is special, unique, and memorable.”Brent Braun

“No Sense is as fun to watch as it is to perform. The teaching covers everything you need to know. My favorite thing at The Session 2019.” Kieron Johnson

"Refreshing and throughly entertaining!”Nicholas Lawrence

“Coin tricks often look like juggling. Not this one! No Sense looks smooth as silk. Slow and deliberate coin magic with a quirky presentation. I love it!”Caleb Wiles

This comes in a nice sealed presentation box, comes with two videos one a is a demo, the second is the full tutorial, play time is thirteen minutes, These are My top three favorite Coin routines, Which Are: No Sense, By Kyle Littleton. CCC, By Troy Hooser. Glitch in the Matrix, By Jim Krenz. I lost a lot of stuff not so long ago, so i am very pleased that this is still available to buy from V inc.

I perform TRIAD Coins at all my parlor shows which I think is one of the best 3 coin tricks. available. But after buying NO SENSE I now have the choice of switching up on my opening and performing NO SENSE. I would rate both with an excellent rating.

Excellent tutorial, the explanation is very clear, it is perfectly understood, a game that can be played by both beginners and advanced players.

Beautiful set.
Amazing and most of all fun to work with.
I’d easily recommend this set.
Yeah, it does take some practice to accomplish, especially for an old sight impaired magician, but it’s worth the time to learn how to perform.

At first I was skeptical about this trick in terms of the quality; I mean a coin changing to a button?... well I am glad I was proven wrong when I decided to finally purchase this. Rest assured everyone, that the quality of the props and gimmicks are top notch.

As for the performance, practice is required for some sleights, but it is basic coin sleights, not knuckle busting, which is another advantage of this trick. This can be performed close up, parlour, sitting on a table, our walk around.

The explanation video, although short, is very well produced and recorded. The explanation is clear and to the point. It would have been nice to have more talk on the theoretical side and approach of the trick. Also, love performances would have been an added touch in different locations and venues, such as casual gatherings, professional performances, and random performances. It's not about the reactions of the spectators as much as seeing the performance itself and how the preformer deals with different situations with commentary from the performer, in this case Kyle.

Overall, this trick is highly recommended as it really embodies an organic feel to a trick, with a surprise ending of the button.

I've never really committed to learning coin magic... until now. The presentation is what sold me. I love keeping things light and this hits the mark. Going to take some time before I'm comfortable with it, but am looking forward to being able to pull this off... hopefully!

The coins come in a nice sealed presentation box, These coins are a great value, considering what coins you get in the package, this comes with two separate videos one is the add, the other is the tutorial which is very well explained, and very easy to follow which includes two different outs, if your into coins then this is certainly worth getting, plus it takes up hardly any pocket space.
Silver to copper, silver to chinese, silver to a button. This is an excellent, and unique three coin change magic trick routine worth having in your pocket, and is ready to go at any time.

I love this. This isn't your normal coin routine where 1 coin disappears from one hand and reappear in another. The way the routine is presented is fun and new. It will make no sense if you don't buy it.

I like this presentation, the moves are not particularly challenging and the explanation is great. I don't like the gimmicks too much. Unfortunately the low-cost shells produced by Vanishing Inc – also available in other products (e.g. Carpenter Coins) – they all look, feel and sound cheap but what it's worst is that they all have copper tinted edges on what is supposed to be a silver coin. They have the advantage of keeping the cost down while still giving you the necessary gimmicks to perform the routine you bought, instead of letting you buy them separately (this would have required at minimum another $50), but be aware that they're not of high quality. My advice is to ditch the gimmicks and keep the routine.

While this may seem advanced, the performance is not that difficult to learn and master, although a knowledge of basic coin moves helps a bit. Great for parlor or close up for one, it’s quick and colorful and is unique and random enough to insert anywhere in your routine. People will enjoy the variety of objects and the elegant way they are delivered. So fun!

Full disclosure: The "protective case" mentioned in the description is the box the effect comes in. You'll want a coin purse for this to keep everything nice and tight.

That said, this is the effect that made me the coolest dad at my sons's day care. I'm a performing magician and "No Sense" was recommended to me by a guy who knows Kyle and vouched for the effect. My son took to it like a duck to water. He begs me to do it. And apparently told all his friends and teachers about it.

So one day I get asked about a coin trick I do for my son by his daycare teacher. From the description it's "No Sense." I agree to do the effect. The teacher called all the students in for circle time to see it performed.

I performed "No Sense" for a room full of four year olds and now I'm the coolest dad at the daycare. Even better than the dad who brought in Ben & Jerry's ice cream cake for his kid's birthday.

And that's why it's worth the price and the excellent rating.

I purchased this a while back during a limited pre-release at a convention. It is absolutely top-notch — have loads of fun performing it. Many people shy away (me included) from coin magic because (1) good coin magic can be difficult and (2) always a fear using coin gaffs that someone will grab and want to inspect. This is not overly difficult, and due to the fun, self-deprecating script, no one cares about examining the coins (although you can end clean with a tad of cleanup). That’s the brilliant thing about this trick— Kyle’s presentation makes this less like a “trick” and more of a fun short story that makes everyone smile. Highly recommended.

I am amazed Kyle has allowed this effect to be published and sold. It is so great – quirky and with a few days of practice easy to master. I wouldn’t say it is an easy trick right out of the box, but if you put the time in and learn the moves it is such a great trick. I know there is a lot of bickering on the website about the trailer – but if you look at the site on your PC you can see Kyle has done a very fair and open demo of the trick - no hype, just a great presentation. Awesome job Vanishing Inc. Even the packaging is first rate. and the price is spot on. Well done!

Not bad. I have to admit that expectations were super high with this trick. I had a lot of hype for it and when it actually arrived and I started to "play" with it I realized that it is somewhat imperfect. The fact that the coins cannot be examined by the public is a pretty powerful con for me. Furthermore, the explanation is too brief and leaves other variations of the number in the air that would perhaps enrich it or make it more surprising. Finally, it does not come with any protective carry case beyond the box in which the material comes.

It is a great trick. I love the fact it makes no sense but for me the instructions we not that great they are adequate. I do think this could be improved alot. The coins are a good and well made. I would also of like to of been given proper half dollar coins as im in the UK so its a little tricky to get them, I would of paid a little more for these coins.
However, it is a good trick and with your own touch added in it could be a truly great routine.
The coin purse should of been included as well.
I am sure I will have alot of fun with it.

  • Jack asks: He said at the end....you can pass these out for inspection....is that true?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The objects are examinable, but there is a small clean-up required.
  • George asks: Why doesn't he perform the trick??? What kind of demo is this? No thanks.

    • 1. Matt answers: I didn't see the options either ? Would like to see it routined. Thanks
    • 2. Michael answers: There are two options in the video....a trailer (in which Kyle doesn't perform the effect), and then a full performance, in which he does.
    • 3. Matt answers: Sorry, on my mobile device it did not show a routine or performance, but on the PC it does just to clarify.
    • 4. Stephen answers: The answer is, Vanishing doesn't do a very good web-page. I've complained to them about this before. Some buttons just don't perform the way they're supposed to. Some Search-results (and other links) don't, either. But in this case, the Full Performance video isn't viewable by Apple's iOS devices. You must use your Mac (or PC).
    • 5. Jerry answers: Works fine on my iPhone.
    • 6. James answers: If you have adblock extension, it may be preventing the player mechanism that permits the Full performance video from being clicked on.
    • 7. Stephen answers: Looks fine on my iPad.
    • 8. Kyle answers: Just buy it and stop whining. Either you like the effect from what you see or you don’t.
    • 9. Karl answers: Now both videos are the demo and the "trailer" is missing. I click on both and get the same video?
    • 10. Garry answers: After purchasing No sense, I am able to view both videos, View as: View as streaming. View as a download. View on android. 1st video is unboxing, and a full demonstration. 2nd video is a full breakdown, explanation. Hope this helps.

    • 3. Claude answers: Amazing what google can find. Not only a performance video of No Sense being performed, there are a couple video reviews also. After watching those reviews, I will be getting this sometime in the near future.
    • 4. Manuel answers: I have received only the very best customer service from Vanishing Inc. In my experience, any problems I’ve had in the past were resolved, sometimes in less than an hour.
    • 5. Rob answers: I’ve had the same problem on Vanishing. They lean on making the trick demos like a slick commercial, ie, brassy music, fast cuts, pix of spectators, always amazed. What was great about the Art of Magic, when the brothers ran it, there was always one or two complete performances. V. relies on a TV sales pitch. Joshua Jay’s performances are well done, he’s talented, but for majority of presentations, sure miss the bros.
    • 6. Garry answers: Vanish inc, they are very helpfull, ask vanish inc a question, and they will give you an answere. I have never had a problem with vanish inc, and I have purchased some great products from vanush inc, including items with streaming, and download videos, and they allways work on the devices that I use.

  • Clifton asks: Sorry for me to buy this . I would have to see full performance. Makes me wonder why he didn’t do this.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: There is a full performance. See above.
  • Brandon asks: Practically: Is this practical for restaurants? Specifically what are the angles and reset. Can reset be done in between performances out in the open or will I need to go off in a corner somewhere?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The reset is surprisingly simple, and takes just a couple of seconds. The angles are good for restaurants - if you have people behind you, you would need to bring the coins much closer to your body, but it would still work.
  • James asks: Will this be available at the VanishingInc booth at Magic Live?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yes, it will be! Ask Kyle to demo it for you!
  • Rick asks: How easy are the moves in this routine?

    • 1. SGKYDUYEN answers: It's quite easy. I'm not a coin guy but I can do it after a day or two

  • Rick asks: Can both sides of any of the 50 cent coins be shown, at the beginning of the routine?

    • 1. SGKYDUYEN answers: I'm afraid that you can't but you can let the spectator examine at the end of the routine

  • James asks: The ad says the package includes everything - carrying case (I assume the little purse shown in the video) and the necessary "three" coins. What about instructions? Is a DVD included or do I , once again, have to download the instructions - which seems to be the trend these days, although I object strongly to doing this.

    • 1. Anthony answers: What is wrong with downloading instructions?
    • 2. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: There is an online video that you can view in your browser or download and play in a video player.
    • 1. Anthony answers: What is wrong with downloading instructions?
  • Jose Manuel asks: This should be produced also on Walking Liberty halfs......a hit for sure!!

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: If you supply the coins, we can make a set with Walking Liberty halves for $120.
  • Guillermo asks: Does the final change have to be a button? Or can it be a poker chip or a ring or a washer etc?

    • 1. SGKYDUYEN answers: I think the button is great fit for this trick. A Poker chip is too big, the ring - it's possible for a ring

  • Ryan asks: I saw on question 10 that you would be able to make the gaffs out of walking liberty half dollars (if provided). Would you also be able to to make it out of £2 if the coins are provided

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: I'm afraid we can only make them out of half dollars.
  • Don asks: What's the total amount of half dollars you would need to craft a set for "No Sense"? I have some nice Franklin's that would look great for this....$120.00 for a crafted set, right?...I love this forum! Peace...

    • 1. SGKYDUYEN answers: I think Vanishing Inc can do that for you. Please drop an email to magic@vanishingincmagic.com for more detail

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Unfortunately, they only come with normal half dollars.
  • Roger asks: Has anyone had a problem with the the button shell not being deep enough to hold the button. The button will not seat into my shell. Is there a deeper shall available from vanishing inc. Thank You
