This is, without question, the most visual cube-solve ever created. You hold a mixed cube still, between your hands. And instantly, visually, and without cover, it melts into a solved cube. There are no elastics and no apparent movement. It's as if the stickers just shift into the right positions. Whether you use this as your Rubik's Cube routine or simply as the grand finale, it's a stunning, visually-arresting moment that requires no skill. This looks like a special effect.

The best part? Immediately afterward you can hand the cube out for examination.

RD Insta interfaces seamlessly with Henry's other cube products, and the gimmick can be easily applied to any RD Regular Cube.

RD Insta comes with a fantastic routine by cube-expert Vincent K, as well as an exclusive interview with Vincent and Henry.

This effect is an ideal piece to insert into your close-up or stage work. It with everything you need (including an RD Regular Cube) and requires only a minimum of rehearsal.

“I love it. So well thought out, it will make it so easy for other magicians to do this effect. (Maybe too easy LOL) I can’t wait to start playing with this version.” Garett Thomas

”RD Insta combines my favorite cube concepts and techniques with a thoughtfully designed quality gimmick that will give current routines a visual boost and open doors to many new ideas. Highest recommendation! ” Karl Hein

“I hate that toy! I hate Henry! And and I won't change my mind until he gives me a box full of this wonder!!” Mario Lopez

“Looks great! You’ve taken my concept to another level! Great job!”Daniel Garcia

Mark asks: I have a normal speed cube already that I can solve. Is it possible to do this routine with it, or will I require the specific RD cube? Thanks

    • 1. Mark answers: I should have watched the RD cube trailer first before asking *facepalm* It seems the RD Cube is recommended as it's silent, but should work with regular speed cube too.

Robert asks: What is the skill level to work with this cube, and is it angle sensitive?

    • 1. ed answers: None you can perform this right of the box
    • 2. Andrew answers: You can do this without learning how to solve a cube, however as with all Rubik cube magic I recommend learning how to solve. Like how to shuffle a deck of cards with cards. As for the move for the RD Insta, it's a very simple move that won't take much practice at all

christopher asks: I have a couple of questions, I am too new to rubiks effects and I am looking at this product as I like the instant solve Element, I am also looking at the Venom. Could you tell me how the 2 compare, what I mean is does the Venom do everything that the Insta does in terms of instant solve as well as the matching cubes?? Also what type of instant solve is it in terms of complete cube can it be examined once solved ie are all sides solved!? I guess what I am asking is which product is best suited for me. I don’t have any experience in cubes really at all. Thanks

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Venom Cube - this allows you to match two mixed cubes RD Insta - an instant solve of a Rubik's cube which uses no sleight of hand.

Customer reviews for RD Insta

Andrew

I preordered this a while back, and was lucky enough to be one of the first to grab this.

You get a ready made cube, with a ready made gimmick to perform this immediately out of the box.

You also get a lovely green carry bag, and enough materials (and spares) to set up a second RD cube, and have a 2nd gimmick.

The gimmick is easy to make, and has everything needed to make it.

The tutorial is nice and long but to the point, teaching multiple effects, and a one cube routine. It also includes an interview at the end which goes into theory which I really enjoyed.

Everything you get feels well made and nice.

As for the effect...it's literally just like what you see in the trailer. It looks extremely visual and I couldn't stop myself from playing with it.

It does have bad angles you want to avoid but the tutorial will teach you to handle this too.

The stand out part of this however is how practical the gimmick really is. The reset is a couple seconds, and is removable with ease for when you want to hand out the cube.

Also while the gimmick is set up, you can do one handed solves, making this easy to bring in a cube routine.

Overall I've had massive fun playing with this so far, and even took it to my last gig with great results
