Himber Wallets are incredibly useful and their simplicity is part of their appeal.
There are many Himber Wallets on the market but we could never find one that was perfect. Some are too plastic-y, others are too large and some are poorly made. For that reason, we decided to design our own.
This Himber Wallet is beautifully made in soft, brown leather. On the inside, there is a side pocket which is typical of a hip-style wallet. There are no complex designs, no clasps. Everything is self-working and the size mans that the wallet could fit in either your trousers or your jacket pocket.
NOTE: This wallet does not include the metal corner clasps.
I have a JOL Mini Himber which I have used for at least 15 years. It is still in good working condition. I picked up this brown himber wallet for a couple of reasons; I have another effect which I need the wallet; this wallet is brown so I can tell them apart.They are both about the same size and both fit into the same vest pocket with ease.As far as quality, this brown wallet is a soft leather and seems to be thinner and I really do prefer the inside pockets in this wallet compared to the JOL, yet there is a difference in the craftsmanship. The stitching has a few blemishes on one side but that may be a good thing for me, I will be able to know what's what.If you're looking for a decently priced leather himber wallet, this wallet may be what you are looking for.
The quality of the leather is great, but some details disappointed me: there is a VI logo in the inner side of the wallet, and I didn't like the way the edge of the wallet looks like when it is closed. The VI team offered me to replace it for a different model, but I decided to keep and give it a try anyway.
