Experts at the Card Table

An Online Card Magic Convention
October 25th 2020

"Experts at the Card Table" is a chance to spend a full day (six hours) with us and some of our favorite magicians. It's happening on Sunday, October 25th, and you'll spend all day with some of the brightest lights in cards magic. You'll learn new routines, unpublished techniques, and detailed tutorials on cheating sleights.

There will be a tour of Jason England's "Cheating Museum" and a jam session with your hosts, Joshua Jay and Andi Gladwin, and lectures from Allan Ackerman, Jason England, and Shin Lim.

Meet the Experts at the Card Table

Shin Lim

Shin Lim

Shin Lim will spend 90 minutes sharing the card magic that earned him top honors as the winner of America's Got Talent. Shin Lim has become a household name in magic but he rarely lectures to magicians. Here we'll have unprecedented access to Shin's original body of work. He will cover card controls, color changes, and his go-to card routine to perform for people.

Jason England

Jason England

Jason England is recognized all over the world for not only his exceptional sleight-of-hand technique, but also for his expertise in the field of cheating. Jason will divide his portion of the day into sleight-of-hand and cheating techniques, and cover not only sleights but applications of those sleights in both a magic and gambling-expo setting.

Allan Ackerman

Allan Ackerman

Allan Ackerman has promised to share ... wait for it ... over 20 sleights and routines. He is one of the most prolific creators in card magic and we're beyond thrilled to share his new magic with you.

Karl Hein

Karl Hein

Surprise! We've added ANOTHER amazing talent to our one-day card convention. Karl Hein is going to kick off our Experts at the Card Table event with a clinic on one of the most important tools in a card handler's arsenal: the false shuffle. Karl will spend a full hour detailing cuts and shuffles you can use immediately, and some that will take more practice. This lecture will include the Truffle Shuffle 2.0, one of the finest in-the-hands false shuffles ever devised.

Questions & Answers

Do I have to attend live?
Not at all. All of the lectures and jam events will be added as downloads the day after the convention.

What will I learn?
All three lecturers will be sharing routines and sleight of hand. They are three of the foremost minds in card magic and together, they make a perfect blend of three very different performing and technique styles.

Is this over Zoom?
Nope. Nu-huh. This is our own system where you can watch the lectures and chat with other attendees (and performers!).

How much is it?
The entire day is just $75.00. That includes all lectures and the downloads afterwards. And the best bit? Masterclass: Live subscribers get 50% off.
