Incredibly Magical
Very different Triumph version, it is visual and surprising. As expected from Dani, the method is very clever. The explanation is a little to fast, as others have commented, but no step was junmped, so if you stop step-by-step you can follow what is going on. The only drawback is that you are not reset in the end.
This trick by Dani is mind blowing and doesn't take a lot of sleight of hand. Open travelers actually made my jaw drop and the explanation was almost as magical as the trick! Just brilliant!
What a genius! Everything that bears the name of Dani Daortiz is a guarantee of quality. What a great variation of the Ascanio/Tamariz classic and how simple it has managed to not only improve the routine, but also make it more accessible, simplify the movements and technique behind the trick and make the visual impact absolutely deceptive and crazy. This man handles the cards in a way that is out of this world and it is a luxury to be able to learn from him.

When I first saw Dani perfrom this triumph my mind was absolutley blown. This is one of two triumphs that have fooled me, and once I learned the secreat my mind was even more blown. Even though this is an older trick that Dani put out, its still amazing. Dani is not just an amazing magician, but also a great thinker.
There are many, many triumph routines. They are often similar in their modus operandi. The one proposed by Dani Daortiz is truly original, and the method used is surprising. I really like this magician and seeing him perform is always a pleasure. I have the feeling that these routines were made especially for him and that it's difficult to reproduce them if you're not Dani Daortiz yourself. This remark seems less true for this triumph. Subject to a little work and technical mastery, this triumph seems feasible in practice. An interesting discovery.

An absolutely killer effect. This has been well thought out and very well explained. I think the best thing about this trick is the sudden wow factor that it creates once the cards instantly appear to sort themselves.
Best and best triumph I've ever seen!
This is one of the most astonishing, visually eye-popping card effects I've seen in years...it looks like real magic. And it's so damn clever, simple and sneaky; you'll get such a kick out of performing it for magicians and lay people alike. While simple to do, this is not a trick for beginners. You need to be able to do a perfect faro shuffle (Dani doesn't teach this. Why should he? It's standard). What takes practice is getting to the point where your handling is very casual, almost sloppy, even though you're in complete control. And in defense of Dani, I completely disagree with others here that his explanation is hard to follow. It's VERY clearly explained. Again, if you're a beginner this is not for you unless you're prepared to put the work in.

Man alive! That is so clever and so damn sneaky.It'll take a little practice and some confidence to pull off, but nothing that requires difficult sleight of hand.

Incredible closer. I have always used a triumph and ambitious card routine in my repertoire. To be honest, I want something fresh. This does need some cleanup and some reset, that’s why I intend to close a card work with this. It looks astoundingly clean though! I don’t think this is good for beginners, but worth it for intermediate to advanced card workers.
Best triumph i've ever seen
5 star. This was great! I really liked the technique that he showed. It looked like the set up was pretty easy, which means you could do this with a borrowed deck. I also liked that he showed options for stand up and with a table. It's also a visually appealing trick because it uses the reds and blacks of playing cards. He's a good teacher, going over what you need to know. (You can also always rewind the video.) I would say add this to your routines.

Just beautiful thinking, method and effect here, could do with some of the explanation going over a little slower and with corrected English subtitles as Dani is not a native English speaker, bless his soul.
Two excellent ways to do a red and black and a triumph effect impromptu. The red and black is nice if you have a brand new deck. It will fan nicely because it is new, and the deck is already set up for red and black after a couple of cuts. Knowing a good false shuffle would also be useful to enhance the start up of the red and black. I liked Dani's cut from the middle. This is very useful to know for any red and black routine. If you are doing a version of Out of This World, you could do Dani's shuffle and it works to keep the red and black apart.
This has easily become my new favorite go to to magic trick. Danny is easy to follow and with a bit of practice anyone can do this trick. When I first saw this it completely fooled me And a method is just as clever as the trick
Great Triumph Routine !
This is a great effect. Keep in mind that this is for advanced magicians, but if you are advanced, it won't be difficult to master. With this version of Triumph, there are some disadvantages, but Dani adds something that the original version didn't have. It really feels like CHAOS to ORDER in the blink of an eye.
I really enjoyed this demonstration and short explanation of Dani's version of Triumph. It's a different take, but the psychology and casual manner make it really strong. It is not a far reach to perform this strolling if needed & thoughts are given on how to perform in a strolling or close-up tabletop environment. Highly recommend if you are looking for a different approach on a classic of magic.

This is Amazing. at first i thought it felt really unnatural but as i practiced and practiced it actually became natural so if you're not sure if you should buy then i can tell you that you should really buy it :D
This version of Triumph is killer, totally baffling for magicians as well as run-of-the-mill spectators. The teaching is first rate, and it's relatively easy to do. Talk about eye candy!
If you can do a decent fan this would be a nice addition to your repertoire. Not particularly difficult but a little finicky, nothing that can't be smoothed out with time.
There are dozens of Triumph routines, but this one is a clean, standup version that can work in all situations. Instructions are clear and easy to follow, from the master cardist himself.

When I saw this I was speechless and I watched it over and over again and I couldn't figure it out! There are so many triumph routines out there and this one really stood out to me! The method is great and once you know how its done its almost too simple but it fools everyone if done correctly! Dani is a great performer and teacher and by buying this fantastic trick you are not doing anything wrong. This instantly became one of my go to triumph effects and you should learn it too!
Do not underestimate this trick! My brother is a magician and i performed this trick to him. He said he would be satisfied with his magic career if this was the only trick in his repetoire. A magician fooler, an amazing trick!
I first encountered this triumph routine in DaOrtiz's Collection collection, "Utopia." This instantly became my go to triumph routine as it not too difficult and the effect is instant. Most triumph routines include a shuffle and a display of the cards back in their correct positions. However, open triumph includes shuffles to mix the cards face up and face down, then a display of the chaos within the deck, which is instantly followed by the display of the cards in their original positions. Beyond what the spectators sees, this trick is an ideal representation of what all magic should be like. There is a big difference between what the spectator sees and what you (the magician) see. The concept utilized by DaOrtiz in this effect has inspired me to think more along what you want the audience to believe instead of thinking about what the trick should be.
Dani is so good in this one! I just don't know where he got this idea from! This is the most fair and visual triumph I've seen to date. If you want to fool not only a layman but a magician, add this to cart and astonish EVERYONE!!
Triumph is the classic effect that every magicians must have at least heard about it. I saw many triumph effects, and this is the best. Others effect only allow you to show that there are cards face to back, face to face, or back to back. But this Open triumph allows you to show that the cards are really mixed. And then in a blink of an eye, the cards became separated. The effect is very natural, when you perform it right, this will be a killer effect among all card tricks.The down point of the trick is only that you can not give the deck to spectators. But who cares! It's normal not giving them deck, you end the trick clean enough, and no one will ask you to look at the deck.Also, in this tutorial, he also teaches the red/black version of this trick, which also based on the same principle. But only a little minor change of handling. Because the bonus effect doesn't need a selected card.
This is a trick that blew me away the first time I saw the performance. Unfortunatley, that first time, I was muting my computer so I never heard the patter (which I have trouble calling patter, it seems pejorative). I watched it again several times and I figured out the base of the effect, the shuffle that was used remained a mystery on the other hand and that annoyed me greatly.Then, a few days later, I looked this up again and heard DaOrtiz' words. It actually touched me and I was immediately captivated by this new style of story magic. I bought it soon afterwards and Dani's teachings were amazing: ranging from the smoothness of his card handling to the brilliance of his patter.Even if you sort of figured out the effect, buy this: you will not regret it. This is more than a magic trick, it's what Dani said: a "hommage to Dai Vernon". You get an incredible effect and a context that will captivate your audiences to the full extent.
Super good triumph! It Looks amazing and is pretty easy to do. The video is short (about 10 min long) but is explained well. One downside for me would be that you don't end clean. Overall I recommend it.
The effect and the explanation are in my humble opinion genius adn innovative. The method was surprising and allowed for a very honest-seeming effect. I do plan on practicing and performing this variation, just because it's so amazing.The reason I gave 4/5 stars is because although the (in my opinion) brand-new move introduced here is explained, it's not taught in detail, and I'll need to figure out for myself how to properly manage my deck and card-display, in order to do this trick justice.
Really visual triumph, good instructions. The only "complaint" is that Dani does not teach a clean up after the effect, you do not end up clean. I like handing the deck out for inspection or for shuffling by the spectators. After this trick that is not possible. It is the only thing I would like added to this download.
I think, explanation should be not so fast and more detailed. There are lot of other cheaper tricks with higher video quality and detailed explanation. After 5 viewings I didn't get the idea and don't want learn this trick anymore.
The effect itself is brilliant, however the instruction was incredibly difficult to understand. I had to watch the video about 10 times in a row and learn by watching. English is not his first language, which is understandable, however they should have chosen someone else to explain the effect. To this day I am not even sure if I am performing it correctly.
I keep trying...and trying...and trying. I'm sorry, but I sooo respect Dani and love what he brings to the table in terms of spectator psychology and card magic. However, this was such fast teaching with such convoluted English (I so apologize Dani!) that I had SUCH a difficult time learning. I so love his passion but it really is difficult to learn via video (and I love video downloads!). On top of that, it would be very helpful if VI started listing the sleights or skill sets that are required on any given purchase. That way you know up front what you're getting into prior to purchase and know what downloads to purchase alongside a trick. For example, this is absolutely dependent on a certain way of handling the cards (and to be really good at it!) Now, for most people that may be magic-101. For some, it's not. Do they not have a right to know that they need to get that down prior to even buying a trick? I personally think so. It's not a slight but it constitutes a skillset of card-handling that is needed. Sometimes it gets tiring to purchase a trick only to find out you can't do it until you learn 2 other slights or skillsets and that pattern goes on and on feeding the magic corporate machine. I personally believe it would boost VI sales on other downloads to list other skills or sleights required. Heck! put a link to where it can be found on the site. Why not boost your sales on other downloads? Sometimes in the magic market place there is a constant gap of not knowing exactly what you're into prior to purchase. I'm pretty sure VI strives to cut a different path on that. So do that!
My concern is not with Dani Daortiz' language or accent. I could understand him with no problems. My problem is with the CONTENT od the explanation. First, I feel that at least one part was omitted, that being the first suffle at the begining. That was completely omitted. Secondly, after several attempts at following the directions, I still can't get it. And this is the very first review that I give a thumbs down review. A beautiful effect that is not fully explained. I'm still going to try this explanation but for now I'm thinking that I misth try Asi Wind's effect.
