If you live in Europe you maybe familiar with the work of Alexander De Cova, and if you live in the states you may not have heard of him. He is a modern master, a German John Carney. He is a technician of the finest sort, with beautiful touches on everything from gambling material to silk magic (he makes it look so good). He is OBSESSED with Hofzinser and has studied all the greats in magic, and his specialty is developing interesting work or tips on classics. His presentation is bare bones(remember that although his English is perfect, it is not his first language).Remember also that this series was filmed years ago, and there is no audience.
That said, we refer to this footage ALL THE TIME because there are so many great ideas here, on topics like deck switches, card to wallet,coins across, and more.
De Cova has no book, and his material does not appear elsewhere. These DVDs are THE place to pick them up. If you only get one volume, choose between 1 and 2, depending on whether you want to get your butt kicked by a deck switch or a card to wallet.
There are DVDs you watch once and put away (even good ones…but you know what we mean), and there are DVDs you use as a reference again and again. This is a reference DVD, and worthy of study.
