The Spirit Slates have proven to be an extremely popular and versatile prop over the ages for stage performers, mentalists and parlor wizards. These Spirit Slates give you a hands-free, no nonsense method of revealing mysterious writing. The flap lies perfectly flat and is invisible even under the most difficult of performing conditions. Slates may be handed out for close examination of the writing. The performer presents two chalkboard slates and shows them blank on both sides. Placing a small piece of chalk between the wooden slates, he rubber-bands them together. When the slates are reopened, the name of a selected card or writing on a burned billet has magically appeared on the slates.Slates measure approximately 12 inches by 9 inches. Mahogany frames. Before I talk about the product I want to state that the customer service from the guys at Vanishing in unparalleled! They have been fantastic.This set of slates seem to be well built but I was very disappointed in the gimmick. It was not the correct size and very noticible. Not sure if it was a fluke with this particular set I received or not.Thanks again for great support Vanishing has earned and kept my business.

phil asks: Thank you for your response about the satisfaction guarantee - but I would like more info about your spirit slates before I order. I do not want to have to pay shipping back if there is a problem. There seems to be a constant complaint about the non magnetic slates that the flap is to small and is very noticeable. Has this been corrected by the manufacturer? Could you check the slates? Thank you Post an answer to this question
