Any Card by Richard Sanders

This is a very clever gimmicked deck of cards.

What happens?

You remove a boxed deck of cards. Ask your spectator to name any card. (And it really can be any card, there’s no force, psychological or otherwise). Let’s assume they name the five of hearts. You unbox the deck, and fan through, explaining you reversed the four aces in the deck previously because you were sure they were going to pick an ace. You act disappointed. Then, bam, you turn over the four aces, to show each card has a word written on the back. The. Five. Of. Hearts. One word on each ace.

Remember:

  • Any card can be named
  • The clever trick deck does the work for you
  • Very quick reset - ideal for strolling
  • No bad angles - can be done surrounded
  • Works with any language

What you get:

  • Very sneaky gimmicked deck
  • Detailed online video tutorial from Richard Sanders
  • Three great presentations
  • Bonus handlings and tips

Sure, it’s not cheap, but Richard has been working on this for over ten years. Every wrinkle has been ironed out. It is a real worker.

Eric asks: I have very dry hands and certain types of cards do not work well for me. Is there recourse If I cannot do this reliably. Can dry hands be a problem? I like this trick very much. but ... recommended for me?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: If you can handle a deck like Brainwave or the Invisible deck, the Any Card will work well for you.
    • 2. george answers: It's similar to an Invisible Deck with a slightly different technique that I love. There is zero "hesitation" when revealing a face-up card, If that makes sense.
    • 3. Russell answers: Try O'Keefe's Working Hands Hand Cream - just a little bit spread well over palms will dramatically improve your card handling - adds just a touch of tackiness.

Customer reviews for Any Card

george

I love this. My only complaint is, for $40 the cards should have been marked out of the box. Not because of the effort (that's minimal) but for the appearance. I have pretty sloppy printing. All in all, I think it's worth the $40 and a really fantastic trick. Very happy with this purchase.

Richard

Just great! Old principles with at least two added touches that enhance both the ease of performance and longevity of the deck. VERY clever! Great for walk-around, as no table is needed. Easy, if not instant, reset.

Don

This is one of the sweetest revelation decks that you will find! This ranks right up there with the "Invisible Deck" as well as any "Brainwave" routine. It's an extremely strong effect. Richard Sanders has really un-corked a wild one here! It does involve extensive prep but it's worth every minute. It's very do-able for any level of magi with the proper practice and rehearsal. Do not let this one get by you...a dynamite deck of cards!!

Walter

This is a 5-star effect. The instruction is top-notch. The implementation is smart. The performance is achievable without superior dexterity. I deduct one star only because the setup time is egregious, and the "arts and crafts" of that setup could have been done as part of the package sold.
I do recommend this fun illusion for purchase, nevertheless.

Dustin

i love this trick. i was a little worried in the begining because i have bad handwriting , but take the time do it along with the video and u will have a power house in ur hands . i think better than the invisible deck and im glad u have to put a little work into it. it adds more value.
