I’m still learning the move, so this is really a progress report rather than a testament to “real world” experience. I’m enjoying learning it, because it’s a real challenge. My biggest concern, having practiced in front of an array of mirrors, is that the move is too angly for all but the most tightly controlled situations. So for me, the REL change feels more like learning Latin, where the process is more important than the product, rather than, say, Chinese, with its obvious practical commercial applications. As I say, this is a work in progress and I’m sure I’ll find ways to optimize viewing angles, but still, at this point I feel more like a seminarian than a international business major.
