Club 71 - Volume 3 - magic

We're very pleased to be able to bring you volume 3 of the Aldo Colombini's DVD version of Club 71. The English magazine 'Club 71' ran from 1970 to 2007 and was produced by Geoff Maltby, the owner of Repro Magic. For most of the time Walt Lees was the editor, with contributors including the likes of Max Maven, Peter Duffie, Patrick Page, Al Smith, Angelo Carbone, Ian Rowland, Werner Miller, Peter Kane, Paul Hallas, Stephen Tucker, Ali Bongo and many more.

The subjects discussed in Club 71 span everything from mentalism and cards to magic for children and close-up. We're pleased to be able to offer you this incredible resource from some of magic's most creative minds, now in DVD format.

Contents of this volume include:

It's Me! - Solyl Kundu
Three cards show a picture of a magic wand. All three cards change into mirrors. Finally, you have a card with a mirror, a card with a wand and the third card with your picture (or your business card)!

Forced To - Ron Escott
Two shuffled decks are dealt, simultaneously, by two spectators. Both stop at the same card!

Coin in Balloon - Angelo Carbone
A coin is thrown towards a balloon and magically appears inside the balloon that can be examined!

Have you ever heard of? - Melvin LeHair
An easy "Find The Lady" routine with a Queen and four Aces!

Cheeky Ring - Ali Cardabra
A nice routine in three phases with a ring and a rope. The ring penetrates the rope, then it becomes free and, finally, it penetrates the rope again!

Resymbol - Max Maven
ESP cards in different colours are displayed. One card is chosen and two more cards reveal the symbol and the colour of the selection!

Illusion - Philip Sweeting
Four red-backed cards with blue spots on their faces are shown. One of the spots turns red and on another card you have TWO spots. Finally, everything reverts to normal!

Mentapathy - Angelo Carbone
A fan of 15 cards glued together is shown and one is mentally chosen. You are able to reveal the identity of the card!

Jacks Be Quick - Justin Higham
A clever version of the sandwich effect where a selected card appears between two Jacks!

Fingered 2 - Simon Lovell
A unique revelation of a selected card with a transposition!
