HOT - magic
HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT

It's a firestarter. A twisted firestarter.

A real cliché in magic is when the ad copy says "you're only limited by your imagination", but with "HOT", it's kinda true.

It's a highly gimmicked Sharpie that lets you ignite flash products at will. It can be operated remotely, and yes, the pen even writes.

Any flash paper, string, or playing card will burst into flames with a touch of the lid of this specially made Sharpie.

What will you use yours for?

What you get:

  • Gimmicked Sharpie
  • Charging cable
  • Remote control
  • Leather bag for storage

So I recently got "HOT" and I thought it would look more like a sharpie marker, well I mean it does untill it reaches the cap, so you can't really keep it still in the "front side" but angled too to be safe from flashing. It works fine. You even get a warranty that lasts for 6 months. The remote is a holding the button to hear it up, kind of thing. I understand that not all tricks have to look spot on like the real thing, just enough for the trick to be done without any thing suspicious looking happening, its just... How the cap is, it's just too risky for me. For me it's just not that good.

  • Paul asks: Are any instructions for routines/tricks provided with this item? Thanks for the help!

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yes video instructions are included!
  • Paul asks: Eventually the sharpie will "run out of ink" and stop writing. Is there any way to install a new "writing tip" (ink) on the marker? Thanks again :-)

    • 1. Darren answers: You have to actually add ink to the tip of the sharpie. They give instructions for doing so.
    • 2. Jeffrey answers: 'Not having purchased this product, (yet), I would assume you could replace the ink cartridge. Although, it would probably require the cannibalization of a regular Sharpie, scissors, and a pair of disposable gloves, (to keep your hands clean, it could get messy). I'm sure the enclosed instructions will likely cover this in detail.

  • Kevin asks: Hi ... I have a question concerning “Hot” by Bond Lee: can the pen ignite items by itself (via its own button or switch) without having to use the remote...?

    • 1. SGKYDUYEN answers: as fas as I know you need the remote control and the pen can't ignite by itself
