  • Seren asks: Would the Topit 180 work well for ditching a Rubik's Cube when worn with a light leather jacket, or would the cube be too large?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: You would probably need to test it to find the answer because it's a judgement call. We have found that rubiks cubes are a bit too bulky for use with a topit, but it would depend on the size of the jacket.

  • Jeff asks: Would it hold an 8 inch ring from a linking ring set?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yes, but you may have to play with the placement/angle of the Topit 180.

  • Joelson asks: Please tell me left handed vs right handed... Which one is david penn wearing in the video?... I need to vanish object with the left side of my jacket.... Is that left handed or right handed?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The one he is using is a right handed topit. If you are using a right handed topit, the move is done with your right hand and the topit would be on your left.

  • Danny asks: can the topit 180 be used with a vest?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: It would depend on the size of the vest, but in theory, yes, it would work.

  • Ed asks: I am going have a custom sport coat made for my performances. Would the Topit 180 be something I can give the tailor to sew in or is their something better? I was just gong to have a large pocket sewn in but I like the idea of being able to retrieve the "vanished" items. Any ideas would be appreciated before I have it made. I am just not the familiar with a Topit type vanish and did not want to spend $55 to just try it. Thank you. Ed Krohn

    • 1. James answers: A good tailor should be able to make one. Have him duplicate the design with the fabric used on the inside of the coat. If you are not familiar with Topits, you may want to study Ammar's work on it.

  • Christophe asks: I am left-handed. Can this topit be simply set on the other side of the jacket or would I have to make a left-handed replica?

    • 1. Daniel answers: When you click the green "Select option & add to cart" button, you will get an option to choose a left-handed version.

  • Barry and asks: Could I use it for a deck switch?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: You can use it to ditch a deck, but if you want to switch a deck there may be some other methods you'd like to look into. We sell a product called Real Deck Switches with a few good switches on.
    • 2. Jim answers: Yes, you can. I know that Ammar has a viable method in his Topit book.

  • Jeff asks: What color is the topit? What if it doesn't match the lining of my sport coat?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: With some modifications, it is possible.

  • Jay asks: What sort of instructions are there? Does this come with a DVD or online instructions?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Unsure, but it has been out of stock for years, so I'd say is very unlikely to come back now.
