This is an unusual deck of cards for several reasons. Yes, the quirky design looks like the standard notebooks so many of us used for schoolwork or just making notes back in the day. Yes, it has that black and white splatter pattern that will instantly remind you of your school days, but it's clever too.
The one-way design means that it can be fanned in four different ways, creating four different patterns. Fan-tastic for cardists. But, wait. That one-way design can also be used by magicians to create a number of effects.
Every one of the faces (all custom designed) has ruled lines as a background - just like your old notebooks. It looks like the faces were just sketched out on your notebook whilst you were meant to be doing your homework!
The best bit about these playing cards is the box. It opens sideways and looks like a real notebook.
