In response to overwhelming demand, authentic Jerry’s Nugget Playing Cards are available again in multiple, amazing collectable versions.

These Vintage Feel Jerry's Nugget Playing Cards have been masterfully printed by the Expert Playing Card Company with their amazing JN finish. This thicker card stock feels almost identical to its iconic predecessor. Combined with the same legendary back and face design, Vintage Feel Jerry's Nugget Playing Cards are an absolute must-have for any fan of the original Jerry’s Nuggets.

Even better, you won’t have to spend an arm and a leg to get one of these decks of cards because they’re strategically priced low enough to ensure every collector, magician or cardist can get their hands on them and use them as regularly as they’d like.

Just don’t delay, because these 1st edition playing cards are sure to sell out.

The storied past of Jerry’s Nugget Playing Cards...

About 50 years ago, Jerry’s Nugget Casino in Las Vegas began production on a new signature deck of cards. Despite the massive undertaking, these playing cards never saw live table use. They were instead locked away in a Las Vegas storage unit with their creators completely oblivious of the legendary path they would soon carve.

Approximately 10 years later, these playing cards were rediscovered by Lee Asher after they had resurfaced as a $2 per deck souvenir in the Jerry’s Nugget Casino gift shop. From its distinct look to its unique feel, Lee loved everything about the Jerry’s Nugget Playing Cards and was sure to share that information with everyone he knew. The popularity of these collectable playing cards catapulted into the stratosphere and it wasn’t long before bricks of them were selling for $100s, and even $1000s.

By the turn of the century, Jerry’s Nugget Playing Cards were completely sold out. They weren’t available ANYWHERE—which made collector’s want them even more. Jerry’s Nugget Playing Cards had become the most highly sought after deck of cards in history.

This, of course, led to simply outrageous prices and an influx of counterfeits from entrepreneurial scam artists. As he’s not one to sit idly by while the legacy of his favorite playing cards was besmirched, Lee collaborated with Expert Playing Card Company to pursue opportunities to reproduce these iconic playing cards—legally.

Following more than 3 years of tense licensing negotiations and an insanely popular Kickstarter campaign, legitimate Jerry’s Nugget Playing Cards are back—and this time you can get them in this Vintage Feel collector’s edition or the awesome new Modern Feel version which has been printed on a premium stock for everyday use by magicians and cardists alike.

Customer reviews for Jerry's Nugget Playing Cards (Vintage Feel)

Absolute quality. The vintage feel cards are somewhat stiff if all you've used are standard Rider Backs, but the beauty of that is you can break them in to suit your needs. The edges were nice and smooth and the cards Faro nicely from the bottom up, which is my preference.

There's good snap, they fan great, nothing to complain about. At the retail price they are a bit on the spendy side, but if care is taken with them and you have clean hands, expect these cards to last a long time.

I was in on the original Kickstarter campaign and I'm happy to see all of the new products continuing to be released.

One of the Jokers on the blue vintage deck has a printed blemish on the back that looks like a small scratch. (Upper right/bottom left depending on orientation). Big enough to look like a marked card. If it wasn’t the joker I would return the deck.

Get the USPCC version. The vintage feel version is printed by a different card company and the paint from the back of the playing cards gets on the side of the deck. After a few hours of usage the sides of my deck were 100% red. I have not had this problem with the USPCC ones. Those are great.

Have a question about this product? It's possible others do too. Ask here and other Vanishing Inc. Magic customers will be able to respond with assistance! Alternatively, email us and we can help too.

  • Kim asks: whats the difference between this old feel and the modern feel please?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The Modern Feel is the standard card finish you find with USPCC decks, whereas the Vintage Feel is a stiffer stock, without the air cushioning that you might expect with decks you normally use.
  • giovanni asks: What are the difference between “vintage feel” vs the originals? I can’t seem to find any opinions from anyone who has played with both.

    • 1. SGKYDUYEN answers: My friend use both decks (original Jerry and Reprint Vintage), he said they are very similar (95%) :D

  • Jean-François asks: Hello, I have 2 questions: Is there the vintage tax stamp seal on this version? I had it once, ordered here, but on your photos I see a modern seal stamp... Last question: is there a USPCC vintage feel edition? I couldn't find it so I suppose only EPCC printed these. Indeed, as a reviewer said: the EPCC version has an ink issue, the edges become blue or red after a few hours of handling. Too bad 'cause I love the smooth finish on these cards. Thank you
