In print for the first time, DeLand's Automatic Trick Cards are so far ahead of their time that their influence is still felt today. The special markings on the backs allow you to know the exact suit and value of any card, and the secondary marking tells you the exact position in the deck. The cards are also tapered (they are a Stripper Deck), so you can control singles, or groups of cards with ease.

Firstly the cards itself are great and good quality. I bought this more as a curiosity and collectors item. I can't imagine really using it as the backs codified and its pretty obvious. But its ingenious and it's great to understand the thinking behind the deck. This is for magic lovers and the curious to learn more.
