Gazzo is a skilled but often offensive street magician who has performed magic and insulted audiences around the world. We’re not altogether keen on his approach to performance, but hey, different strokes for different folks. We do very much like this Tossed out Deck, which is regarded in the industry as the best version on the market.

David Hoy’s original Tossed Out Deck plot is great. You toss a pack of cards into an audience and ask several people to glimpse a card from the pack. Without touching the pack, you can divine everyone’s thought-of card. What sets Gazzo’s version apart from the rest is all the convincers and subtleties that allow for extra clean moments, and draw attention away from the pack itself.

You could make a living doing this if you have talent and spend the time practicing and developing your own style, and not trying to copy the DVD verbatim. There's only one Gazzo, and only one you, so be yourself and gather a crowd and make some money.

    • 1. Jim answers: Although Gazzo's routine uses six people, it could be adjusted for three people with a little DIY work.
