Of course, I would attend all the classes Dani taught. If he were at the Vanishing Inc MCs every month, I would be the first to attend. It is true that his low level of English makes it difficult to clearly understand everything he says. I think I have mentioned it in other of his products: perhaps it would be a good idea to allow him to teach the class in Spanish and subtitle it in English. Despite that, he is a magician of a higher category. The amount of learning that can be extracted from the hours of this MC is far beyond what you can learn from any other source.

Is it still necessary to say how much Dani’s stuff is good ?
Dani prepared a very well constructed master class with a good balance between theory, tricks and explanations.

To make the masterclass clearer, The pdf does help you to navigate between the sessions. The only problem (as usual with daOrtiz) is that it is only 3 hours long :)

There really is no other term for this but a Masterclass from one of the greats on the Triumph. I doubt many people could watch this and not learn something about this classic of magic. Absolutely love your stuff Dani. <3

This masterclass delivers exactly what it promises. A masterclass in the truest sense of the word. It’s no surprise that Dani’s brilliance shines through in every routine and every piece of wisdom imparted here. I can totally see myself going back again and again and learning something new each time.

This was a great Masterclass (second), coming in at two and a half hours it was a great example of effects backed up by incredible theory. I cannot imagine anyone coming away from this class without some gem that he or she can use in their act.
The video was crystal clear and last week’s video has been re-shot with added material. The tricks that Dani teaches are, for the most part, typically Dani. The theory, however, is brilliant and applicable to almost any piece.
Some of my favorite advice is to look at the magic from the spectator’s point of view. This will cause the spectator to remember what the performer highlights and forget the things that actually make the trick work. Dani explains that memory is malleable and can be controlled by the performer. This is an areal that is being explored by academics today and makes a huge difference in magic.
Dani’s parable about the champaign bottle is an example of his genius. The magic must build and build until, when the denouement is finally revealed, the spectator’s reaction is like the uncorking a shaken bottle of champaign. It explodes, just like the bottle. Dani also goes into the expectation of spectators (e.g., when a card is torn, the spectator expects it to be restored, not for the two pieces to change color, etc.
The chosen, signed, card in water-bottle is at the end of the lecture. I can see how this would be a closer for almost any show. The important thing here, however, is not the tricks, but the theory. A don’t miss from one of the most incredible performers in Magic today.

Wonderful and thought-provoking lecture covering much ground on the theory/psychology of Triumph along with many variations and ideas on handlings. My only complaint is Dani seemed to have turned off the audio on the video performances he showed (aside from the very first one of Open Triumph). I could listen to Dani for hours, and thankfully I can with this Masterclass! :D

A very detailed class about Triumph. This is a serious class about Triumph, and Dani goes over the many layers, perspectives, and approaches to strengthening this classic trick. Although the first class is "only" one trick, the methods and approaches that Dani talks about can be applied to other card tricks to make them stronger.

It was one of the best Masterclasses of the year. Dani packed his session with clear explanations and precise demonstrations of each technical trick he presented. His philosophy and ideas can be transposed to many aspects of magic. He did a fantastic job and like the Author Joseph Conrad, who wrote in his second language, did a great job presenting the lecture in English. This was a treat and the time flew by.

If Dani were to leave a review of his own Masterclass, he might say: "Buy this lecture, or don't. It's your life." But you should, and here's why: Dani is contagious. The content and thinking he shares "is unbelievable" (to use his phrase), and I learned a ton. While the content is top tier, it's just as much fun to simply to watch a Master share his craft. Thanks Dani!

OK, I rated this as "pretty good." So let me explain. Dani is a true master. And as a master, Dani doesn't focus on the things that we mere mortals focus on. Throughout his lecture, Dani emphasized over and over again that it is not the method of the trick that matters. Rather, it is how the magician utilizes the relevant principles. In my super-humble opinion, Dani doesn't realize that his genius is taking principles we all know about and coming up with a method that is GENIUS. Other, lesser magicians who know of the very same principles that Dani applies would never even come close to coming up with Dani's methods. So, for purposes of the Master Class, I think Dani's methods DO matter, and I would have liked to see more of them in this lecture. So the "pretty good" rating could have been improved with more tricks taught and less theory, or at least more applications of the theory he discusses in this lecture. But, yeah, Dani is the man.
