While they are made by the USPCC and look exactly like standard Bicycle playing cards, this deck of cards is actually completely waterproof. They’re nearly impossible to mark or crease and will always snap back to their original flatness.

So, for those who have always wanted to practice in the bathtub or perform IN the local pool—now you can!

With a little creativity, nearly any card magician can find a way to use these wonderfully unique playing cards. We’d suggest keeping a few decks of Plastic Playing Cards around as backups. For working magicians, outdoor gigs can always be unpredictable. With Plastic Playing Cards you’ll be prepared for any weather!

QUALITY
Although they are pricier than standard bicycle cards, they look almost exactly the same, the colours are much richer or darker which I actually quite like. Physically, they are a bit heavier than standard cards. Cards instantly spring back to shape and are difficult to deform. The case it comes with is see-through plastic as well but It would have been good to have a standard playing deck case in plastic instead.

You may find it takes some time to get used to the feel, for me they will never replace paper cards but they have their own uses.

USES

They will last you much, much longer but since they are plastic you can not expect them to handle the same way, so no table fans. (Yet strangely fanning a few cards in your hand is very easy to do)

They are also decent cards to practice card throws, springs, or really most flourishes or cardistry moves and they tend not to pick up dirt from the floor as much as normal cards.

Perhaps they are mostly ideal for games where you expect to be playing with a lot of people who might not treat your cards as well as you do.
