If you’re a magician or just starting to learn magic tricks or learn card tricks there’s a name that you will come across not long after you’ve learned card magic basics: Murphy’s Magic Supplies. Who are they? Let’s find out.

Murphy’s Magic Supplies (or MMS, or just plain old Murphy’s) is the largest wholesaler of magic tricks in the world.

They provide magic to almost every magic store in the world, us included. They sell all manner of different magic tricks, including card magic, coin magic, mentalism, kids’ magic, magic downloads, magic books, playing cards, flash paper, close up magic, stage and parlor magic, virtual magic shows, sponge balls and almost any other magic prop you can think of.

It was started in 1998 by Mark Murphy and has its headquarters in Sacramento. The observant amongst you will recognize that address. That’s because we chose that location for our North American warehouse so we can pick up orders for anything we don’t have in stock directly from Murphy’s and get them out to you as soon as we can. No waiting for shipping, we just drive the van over, load up, and ship your orders! This agile approach is just one of the reasons why your magic arrives so quickly when you order from us compared to other magic stores.

It is a wholesaler, so it doesn’t sell directly to the public. They supply the magic stores you buy from.
