I've heard so many wonderful things about Secret Tannery and was beyond excited to receive my Hi-Jak Wallet earlier today. I was particularly excited because I've always wanted a Peek Wallet that I could actually use on a daily basis. The promise of this wallet to be perfect for EDC as someone who still carries US/Canadian cash and the fantastic price and quality assurance were too good to pass-up, so I happily purchased it. Unfortunately, I was in for a rude awakening upon arrival. No measurements were given in the description so I was initially disappointed by how small the wallet was. It barely fit my Drivers License, Health Card, Employee ID Card, and few credit cards. Surely the bill compartment would make up for that? Unfortunately not. As mentioned in the description, the wallet is designed for European currency so US/Canadian dollars did not fit into it. Fold them as suggested or otherwise trying to make them fit only leads to the wallet being unable to close properly - at best, this significantly impacts the ease of peeking unnoticed. At worst, the wallet is totally unable to close after no more than a handful of bills are inside. So unfortunately, I am left having paid a good amount of money for a high-quality product that is not actually usable as an EDC wallet and am very disappointed with it. I'm sure this is an excellent Peek Wallet, but there is much to be desired as a usable EDC. Having said all of that, if you are just looking for a Peek Wallet to use in walk-around mentalism, but not as an EDC, then this one looks excellent. That just isn't what I wanted or needed in this product. If you are looking for a Peek Wallet that could also be used as your EDC, I'm afraid this one leaves much to be desired.
