A classic of magic, now available in replica Morgan Dollars from N2G.

You've almost certainly played with, or own, a Scotch And Soda set. It's a gaffed coin that allows you to perform a variety of elegant coin vanishes.

You display two coins on your hand. Closing your hand, you remove just one of the coins. Showing it on both sides. When you open your hand, the remaining coin has vanished.

This is a magnetic, locking version created with a replica Morgan Dollar and copper coin with exquisite craftmanship by N2G.

My issue with scotch and soda has always been the bang ring. Made walk around a nightmare. Seemed to only fit as a magic shop demo. But with the magnetic version, it’s so much better. And N2G makes amazing products. I already want another set, as a backup. Get this set, especially if you do walk around.

Ok, I'm gonna play devil's advocate on the magnetic method. I think it actually makes the trick harder to perform. Basically as soon as the coins are in proximity they click together. The problem with this is that when they are initially displayed you gotta have a grip on them which seems a bit awkward compared to just letting them lay loosely in your hand. There's no "bang ring" but I wouldn't say they are easy to separate. I still like these coins and they look great! The original non magnetic Scotch and soda might be more my thing, personal preference.
