The pins Slydini used were three inch long and gold colored. I think that ultimately the size of the pins plays into an elegant rendering of the piece. While the supplied 2 inch safely pins do work, something is simply lost. Along with the pins one receives instructions which include the original routine , I’m guessing reprinted from the original description in Apocalypse, and a few bonus sequences that one may elect to include if you’ve rung out the gaff. Frankly, as created by Slydini, nothing can suitably follow it up. I’ll say this about the routine over all: There are few pocket tricks with such humble materials that can so astonish. It’s truly a gem, and I’d guess few use it.
