Magic download (video) by Tran Cao Luan (12.00)

Vietnam's Tran Cao Luan is an exceptional sleight of hand talent. "Galaxy" is his solution to a tabled one-card switch. It's based on Chris "Orbit" Brown's Venus Trap move (and published with his full permission), but uses the table to your advantage, eliminating any angle problems that can sometimes occur with this kind of switch.

In the action of picking a card up off the table and briefly coalescing it with the pack, the card is effortlessly and invisibly switched. No awkward pauses or sensitive angles. The table gives you almost all of the cover you need! "Galaxy" is destined to become a staple move in the arsenal of serious card magicians and best of all, it's fun to practice!

We are certain that you will find hundreds of uses for this sleight BUT as an added bonus, Cao Luan teaches a really intriguing card location effect which uses "Galaxy". After a card is lost into the deck, two cards are turned over and shuffled back in face up. Inexplicably, they trap one card - the selection!

It is our mission to seek innovative new material from far and wide, and "Galaxy" is a very strong addition to our Magic of Vietnam collection of downloads. Taught in detail, the on-screen text highlights make the learning process crystal clear.

English subtitles. Running time: 12mins 10secs

Customer reviews for Galaxy

Galaxy is a good utility move. You can use it while seated or standing behind a table and is invisible from all angles because you use the table as a cover. If you want to perform it you have to adapt the way you scoop the cards from the table to the deck, so when you do the move it doesn’t look suspicious. Try it, I already used it a few times with great results.
