The Vault - Social Distancing
Social Distancing is a fun and visual take on the ZigZag effect from Danny Urbanus.
It is a super practical version of Ade Rahmat's Distancing effect where a card impossibly splits in two before being perfectly restored. The participant can fold the card, and you'll even learn how to hand it out for examination when you're done.
The gimmick is super easy to create and the effect is just as fun to practice as it is to perform.
While this is clearly an ideal trick for TikTok, Omegle, Instagram or Zoom, it also works well for in-person close-up magic or street magic.

Customer reviews for The Vault - Social Distancing
Well taught, great effect for social's, live would require audience management but kills.
I found it easy to follow and learn. I gravitate to none traditional card tricks so this is great. I'm blowing minds with this. Awesome effect.
This is a more impromptu and in the end more practical version of Ade Rahmat's "Distancing" which produces more or less the same visual effect but does away with the gimmicked card in the original, which is not difficult to make but does require a bit of work. Danny Urbanus explains and shows everything very clearly from various angles, and it's a very puzzling effect.
Great explanation and superb performance. I think it is far better than the similar performances by other magicians, even though they maybe better known than Danny. Great work Danny, great explanations and great photography. I will perform this trick probably on an ad-lib basis, not on stage.
Very ingenious, love it's simplicity it can easily done any where at anytime and it works well on zoom and in walk around close-up magic. . .
