A Touch of Romance: Valentine's & White Day Magic
Use Cupid's bow on the Joker to visually reveal a chosen card. This set combines an elegant deck of playing cards with a magic experience designed for Valentine's Day and White Day.
In Western traditions, Valentine's Day, February 14, is often when men give flowers, chocolates, and other grand gestures. In Asian cultures, particularly Japan, the tradition is reversed: women are the primary gift-givers on February 14, while men return the favor one month later on White Day, March 14.
The Collaboration
We teamed up with award-winning magician Witness Kou to create a Valentine's-themed playing card set designed for both performance and collection. Whether you're an experienced magician or new to sleight of hand, the set includes the materials and instruction needed to perform romantic magic with the custom cards:
- Custom gaff card pack: Specially printed utility cards designed for romantic reveals.
- Full magic tutorial: Step-by-step instruction from Witness Kou covering the custom cards and effects, including the visual reveal of a chosen card using Cupid's bow on the Joker.
The Design Concept: The Baby Olympians
Instead of traditional court cards, this deck reimagines classical mythology's Twelve Olympians as baby Cupids.
Each court card depicts a famous Greek deity as a playful, winged Cupid:
- The Kings: Baby Zeus, Poseidon, Apollo, and Hades/Dionysus.
- The Queens: Baby Hera, Athena, Aphrodite, and Artemis.
- The Jacks: Baby Hermes, Ares, Hephaestus, and Dionysus/Hestia.
Every card combines classical Greek iconography with soft pastel colors and romantic motifs. It works as a performance deck, a deck for playing games, or a keepsake.
Set Features
- The deck: A fully custom tuck box, pips, indices, and court cards featuring the Baby Olympian Cherubs.
- Gaff pack included: Custom magic cards designed for romantic reveals and visual storytelling.
- Video instruction: Comprehensive instruction suitable for all skill levels.
- Ideal for: Valentine's Day, White Day, anniversaries, or adding magic to date night.
The instructional video runs for 1 hour.
