The 'Haunted Deck' is an amazing plot, and one of the most visual types of card magic. I fell in love with Stephen's version because it is the perfect opener -- you remove the Jokers from the deck, but in two different, visually shocking ways. Once they see the deck move, they KNOW you are going to be good - it establishes credibility right away.

And method wise, it's literally perfect! No threads, no magnets, no wires, no elastic... it is self-working, and the deck is clean and examinable, meaning you can carry on with any other of your tricks!

This is brilliant, it comes with a very well explained video, six minute play time, set up is quick and easy to do, just follow the video instructions, no sticky stuff, no IT, it's great fun, and very easy to do. And Ive tried quite a few variations of the haunted deck tricks, and this is my favourite version to date.
Plus you end up clean, which is also very easy to do.

  • Edward Alexander asks: Does it have to be the jokers. Can it be two freely selected cards?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: It comes ready to go using a Joker (the other card could be any card). You do get an extra gimmick, and that could be applied to any card before your show.

  • Tony asks: Once the Jokers are removed, can the deck be used as a standard deck for the duration of your performance? Or should it be switched out at some point?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: With the jokers removed, the deck is totally normal!
