One degree is a brilliant book by John Guastaferro I had heard so much about this book that I just had to purchase it is not a big book it is 140 pages but any body who doesn't know Johns work believe you me you are in for a treat his tricks are so clever but at the same time are not to difficult to learn with a little practice you will not be disappointed.
I love this book and the idea of making things "one degree better" to improve the impact tremendously. The routines inside are really good plus you get some interesting essays which make you think about your magic and your performance. The style of writing is clear and the photos help to understand everything in detail. Well worth the money!
I purchased the first version of One Degree the day it was released. I still use so much of the material and it has remained one of my favourite books in my collection.I love how John applies his knowledge and skills from the marketing and design world to magic and the proof is in the pudding. The tricks are fantastic and so is the theory. This soft back version looks really good and at this price point, it should be a no brainer for any close-up magician.
