A packet of playing cards is fairly separated into red and black piles. You then introduce a red and black indicator in front of you and explain how these are the leader "cards" and determine the future of every card dealt. You then start dealing cards and show how red cards always follow the red leader and the black cards always follow the black leader.
This doesn't seem amazing at first since everyone just saw the playing cards being separated. However, you then switch the two packets and impossibly they still follow the leader card. They're switched again, the leaders are switched, packets are moved left, right up and down. Yet everything still impossibly follows perfectly. Red to red. Black to black.

What a great way to utilize momentum of a trick to make it seem impossible. Very easy to learn but smoothness and momentum is the key. Once you practice this enough to get the moves smooth, and the speed and timing right, you'll have a killer effect to perform on all types of audiences. I purchased 2x 8" mouse pads from Amazon.
