Quantum Aperture - magic
Quantum Aperture Quantum Aperture

One of Calen Morelli’s most talked-about releases in years, “Quantum Aperture” has fooled some of the best minds in magic. Now, the complete sellout from Magic Live! is available at Vanishing Inc.!

As you’d expect from Calen, this is not your average moving hole effect. Ingeniously engineered, it creates a brain-busting visual you have to see to believe. Many top magicians agree—it looks just as good in person as it does on video (if not better).

You pull out a card with a huge hole in it. Your audience can clearly see right through. Then, something impossible happens: you place it on your wallet or phone… and the hole slowly, visibly slides across the card. When you lift the card again, the hole is right where you moved it—and you can still see cleanly through it.

No sleight of hand. No cover. No weird angles. Just beautiful, visual magic.

This truly impossible moment will make their brains burst out of their heads.

What you need to know

  • Extremely easy to do (no sleight of hand)
  • Insanely visual and fooling
  • The card (and the hole) never leaves their sight
  • The movement is completely visible (no cover is needed)
  • Handcrafted gimmick made from genuine red Bicycle Rider Back cards
  • Repeat it instantly with no reset

Use “Quantum Aperture” to amaze friends and clients, or go viral online. There’s no situation where this amazing visual miracle doesn’t get a huge reaction.

Don’t miss your chance to own this one-of-a-kind gem. Get yours now before they’re gone!

Even after buying this, it still looks like a camera trick! So good! The craftsmanship of this gimmick is top notch and should last a long time if you properly take care of it.

I appreciate the brevity of the tutorial video. It’s direct and simple with no fluff. After some practice this is going straight into use in my social media content.

I've had this effect since it appeared at Magic Live! and it's just fantastic. It looks great on video, but don't waste it on the internet -do this in person! You will obviously have to watch your angles, but it's not hard. And yes... it's a bit expensive but it's worth it. I now have two. ;) Also, if, like me, you would like to swap the gimmick out, the "Switch-A-Two" can work well... it's a little funky at first but once you figure it out, you can easily use this thing for walkaround or table hopping.

Amazing and very simple! This genius little gimmick can be easily carried and performed without any words. Easily understandable by adults and children, and will definitely fool diehard magicians. Other moving hole card tricks use other objects to achieve their effect, but this one is just a hole that somehow moves… It instantly resets itself, ready to show the next person immediately. Just like the ad, it looks like CGI and easily baffles the most experienced minds. The learning curve is extremely fast and understandable, although some practice will help you master the smooth and effortless moves to perform an incredible miracle!

I was really excited about receiving this, but was a bit underwhelmed with the delivered product - especially at the price point.

Let's start with the 7 minute tutorial that has no dialogue. Sure, it shows how to perform, but at this price point I was expecting a bit more in depth I guess. It's basically 'here's a card with hole, here's the hole moving, here's the card with the hole where it began' The end.

The gimmick is a bit wonky, and doesn't seem to operate consistently. And while the natural inclination would be to count part of that as user error I don't think that's the cause 100%. The fit isn't perfect, to the point where I would be hesitant to do this close-up.

We all know the card can't be examined, but for $60 it would have been nice if the provided card wasn't blank on the backside - or if an actual real playing with the identical hole cut out had been provided for a switch.

For the cost vs what is provided I feel like I overpaid by a lot. Yes, I rated it 'good' because the visual effect - when it works properly - is nice looking. When it works properly, that is.

It looks great but the instructions are horrible, Really you can’t explain it instead of crappy music and subtitles. Maybe it takes too much effort to make a quality instruction video. I wish creators could work on making good explanation videos. For $60 not worth it
