Does this trick use a stooge or an instant stooge?

No, it's a gimmicked deck and it does all the work for you.

1. Must the performer be the one who spreads the deck face up? Or can a spectator spread the deck face up without risking his noticing the special nature of the deck? 2. Must there be the same number of cards in the two packets or may the cut be “near” center?

It's a normal spread face up and the trick works best if done as shown in the trailer. The fact that one spectator has to copy the other exactly adds to the effect because they stopped at the same point in their decks and matched the predictions.

This trick would be SO much better if the selected cards were the only two cards in the blank deck. Is this possible with this routine?

While the overall method seems obvious, I'm curious about the description (and some of the answers to questions here) indicating that all the cards dealt must be synchronized by both volunteers. At the beginning the first volunteer cuts the deck "NEAR the center", (which meaning often times it would not be PERFECTLY at the center), yet at the end BOTH volunteers end up laying down the exact number of cards. If it's truly necessary for each action (cards dealt) to be synchronized by both volunteers, does the trick still work if one volunteer runs out of cards before the other (and therefore would no longer be synchronized)?

It must be performed as shown in the video and both spectators must be in sync with dealing. It is a cleverly used method and you wouldn't be disappointed if you bought it

In the video, the effect is that even the chosen cards are not in the deck, they are all blank. In the instructions, the effect is that ONLY the chosen cards are there. Which is it? Thanks!

Must the spectator's counts be perfectly synchronized without any mistakes? And can they set the rest of their cards down on the tabled discards, or is it absolutely necessary for each of them to deal down their remaining cards one by one?

I hate R&S and I never end up doing tricks that use it. Does this use R&S. if not then I definitely want it.

This is my first purchase of an effect by Adrian Vega and I am not disappointed. The method behind this is clever and I sort of knew how it was done after watching the trailer and I wasn't wrong. There is a very small setup required when you get the product which would take less than 1 minute. The spectators do ALL the work for you so you can focus on your presentation

Oh my goodness this is lovely. The effect is truly mind blowing. It looks absolutely impossible, especially because it looks so fair. The ad copy is right — you really don’t touch the cards throughout the entire effect! And the plot is so clear that there’s nothing messy or confusing as there sometimes are in card tricks. And if that’s all not enough, the instruction is fabulous. So clear; so thorough. One caveat: when he says not to do anything with the cards until you’ve watched the tutorial … don’t do anything with the cards until you’ve watched the tutorial!

I really enjoyed this startling and highly original effect. You give the deck to the spectators and they literally perform the trick themselves before you show the final revelation. Very nice.
