Customer reviews for Unboxing

As far as video production goes, everything is clear and the sound is good. I understand that the editing process is arduous but there were some extra takes, grammatical errors, etc. that were missed and give the product a rushed feel.
In the right lighting and with the right handling, Unboxing looks fantastic. If you enjoy do-it-yourself magic and want to see Nicholas’ wrinkle on Modern Times, you might want to check this out.
OK, here it goes:
I'm an engineer by training so construction/DIY has never been a problem. That being said, this gimmick, while conceptually clever, needed a lot of pre-planning to get just right. As the previous reviewer stated, the video is not great, very rushed and adds some steps that could cause people to make mistakes.
All that being said, once you understand the concept behind the gimmick it's not difficult to make as many of these as you want as long as you can source good and thin latex/rubber material.
Final thought, I think there are other ways to make this effect work with some fairly simple slight of hand but, again, I like how it's done and tried it on a few spectators who didn't see the gimmick or put much heat on the "box" because they didn't know what they were looking for and it's good opener for card routines with color changes.
