Magic download (video) by Fredrik Höjman (19.95)

Squeeze is an ingenious, ungimmicked way to visually solve a Rubik's cube. On this half hour download, creator Fredrik Höjman takes you through everything you need to know. There are no complicated algorithms to learn, nor do you need to know how to solve a cube (although it would make your life easier if you did!). Just follow the over the shoulder camera, memorize a few simple steps, and soon you will be performing Squeeze!

The proliferation of cube magic has brought about many clever ways to secretly solve a cube but many of them look suspicious, or happen too quickly. The beauty of Squeeze is how slowly the cube moves and how sofly the colors just seem to morph.

The download runs for almost 30 minutes and also includes a bonus false mix by Jack Carpenter and a PDF which includes the algorithms for those of you who may be interested in them.

"Squeeze Solve looks REALLY GOOD. I can't wait to learn it and start using it now!"Henry Harrius
“A practical and easy solve for live performances”Takamiz Uzui
"Frederik Höjman’s ”Squeeze” should be called “Instant” because that’s how quickly the magic happens. “Squeeze” is a great instant cube solve because the method allows you to focus the audience’s attention on the exact moment of amazement.” Karl Hein
"This twists and turns my brain so it hurts".Axel Adler
“A great gimmickless solution for a super fast visual solve”Kev G.

Got this on sale for 10 dollars. The teaching is very thorough (includes PDF, couple videos) and done well, it's very visual. I would recommend this after you already have some experience with magic using a regular cube ex. Cube3. Overall, this is a nice fast solve you can add to your existing cube magic.

Squeeze is a very good effect and technique. I do not know very much about Rubik’s magic, but I liked it very much. You get really great reactions. It’s a very
visual effect.
Moreover, Fredrik Höjman teaches you a fake shuffle that you can use in another situation.

I do Rubik's cube magic at all my gigs and never have I done a trick with a NORMAL cube that has got such a big reaction. if you also do Rubik's cube magic this is one of the best instant solves using a normal cube. there is only a four move scramble and does require a bit of practice but once you have the move down this ill go straight in your act.

This makes you look like you're using a gimmick to achieve this effect. Unbelievable. It takes a while to learn, but it will be worth it just for the moment of visual. You can do this then go into the solution by michael murray and you have a full 10 minutes set with just a regular cube

The routine is fantastic! The moves are simple to learn. The teaching in the download is very easy to follow. It is simple enough to learn if you don’t know how to solve a cube, but learning to solve a cube will greatly enhance your chances of making this method become second nature

This is very easy be done if you know the basic cube moves. Of course if you don't know the basic moves the video will teach every move in detail. Well spend of $10 and it is worth.

I love all the instant solves that are coming out and this is no exeption. This is not quite as easy as Steven Brundages' or Henry Harius's version but definatly worth the study. Thanks to Greg for his one handed version.

Great, but not for the squeamish. If you haven't done Rubik's Cube work before, prepare for a bit of a steep learning curve. It will take LOTS of practice to get the moves into your muscle memory. You will be rewarded with a MIRACULOUS instant solve of an obviously thoroughly mixed cube. There will be frustrations along the way, but patient practice will reward you with a move that most will download out of curiosity but abandon before attaining mastery. The $10 is well spent in either case, but it is close to the magical bargain of a lifetime for those willing to put in the time.

Very awesome routine!!! It’s not difficult, so pretty much anyone is able to do it with no need to know how to solve a Rubik cube, but it does help if you do know how since you will need to start with a solved rubik cube. The actually technique is fairly angle proof, at least he goes though how to make it angle proof so you are able to perform surrounded. Over all, an awesome effect!

Squeeze is a brilliant plot on the instant solve, it really looks like trick photography when performed.
Fredrick does a great job on the tutorial taking you through step by step and teaches you everything you need to know. As a added bonus shows you a couple of false mixes.

Gets 5 out of 5 ?? from me, highly recommend.

This was my first Rubik's Cube magic trick. I was not disappointed. It is a gateway drug into a whole different world.

Cons: If you don't know how to solve the Rubik's cube, you will be on the struggle bus for a bit. Knowledge of a Rubik's cube (solving and moving) are essential to digesting this instruction quickly. Also, if you have not learned the standard terminology for movements and positions of a Rubik's cube (I learned differently), there will be some frustrations in the PDF provided. He references the algorithm, which takes you to the website that helps solve these issues. Lastly, the move is performable with any Rubik's cube, but you will want to find a quieter cube to make it appear more magical.

PROs: Good videos and instructions. The move is not too hard to do with a bit of practice. Learning the angles using a mirror is the more intricate part, but it is not that hard. Once you understand that the angles come into play making the move, you quickly understand why there is a picture in the picture video given during the demonstration. Just remember, solving a Rubik's cube normally is pure wizardry for the average person; solving it using this move...blows people's minds.

I believe this is a quality product, and I will use it in my performances. I fidget with the cube anyway, so why not. It is great to use something that is an everyday object.

WARNING! If you have never experienced Rubik's cube magic, it's like opening the door to a room with a meeting in progress. You didn't know a meeting was happening, and you feel overwhelmed and want to shut the door quickly. CALM DOWN! It is not scary, and you can do wonders with a bit of knowledge.

This one looks great visually, similar to RD Insta but only in appearance and impromptu which is always a plus. The move is a little tricky, especially for those new to cube magic. Definitely give it the practice it deserves.

Have a question about this product? It's possible others do too. Ask here and other Vanishing Inc. Magic customers will be able to respond with assistance! Alternatively, email us and we can help too.

  • Eric asks: I just want to know can you hand out the cube and have someone else mix it up or Is there a particular set up that must be done for trick to work?

    • 1. Robert answers: There's a particular setup. The video teaches you how get into it starting with a solved cube. If you want to let a spectator mix the cube, you could have them mix a different cube and then perform a switch.

  • Carlo asks: Does the cube have to be an expensive-quality kind to make the turns smooth?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: It does not but it should be a good cube that turns smooth.
  • William asks: Is the bonus information by Jack Carpenter the same that is in his Rubikulous download?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: I believe it is slightly different than the routine in Rubikulous
