Negative, but it’s nothing that takes away from the effect. Audience doesn’t even notice the difference.

Does it require to switch the creditcard?

I don't have it, but strongly assume so from the trailer. If you want to do a visual quick change, this should be fairly angle-sensitive. If you want to do it in the spectator's hand as seen in the trailer, it should still require a change, which should be easy and easily motivated in the context of the routine provided by Craig Petty.

Can it be done in context of mentalism

The main routine isn’t Mentalism at all. However the 16 digit number on the card is a forcing matrix and is designed to force numbers in a very fair way. There are several Mentalism applications including country reveals, number predictions and even a mental dice style routine without the dice Hope that helps

“Credit Crunch” is a modern evolution of the classic Dicey Dots plot, but instead of dots jumping from a dice to a plastic rod, the numbers from your credit card vanish and reappear on a sharpie.

Here’s what happens:

You hand your participant your credit card and ask them to remember the numbers printed on it. They place the card securely between their hands, making it impossible for anyone to get near it.

You then bring out a Sharpie and show it cleanly on both sides. With a small shake, the credit card numbers appear in raised and embossed on the marker. Your participants can even feel them.

But here’s the kicker.

When they open their hands, they discover the numbers have completely vanished from the card they were holding the entire time.

And everything is completely examinable.

This is an EDC no-brainer. Just buy it. You're going to be carrying a Sharpie anyway, so you might as well carry this one. And this takes up no more room in your wallet than any other credit card. This is super easy to do! Even for beginners. All you need is a paddle-move, and he even teaches this. Plus there's no heat on the Sharpie when you're doing this... because it's just a Sharpie. The card switch is also easy, and he teaches several ways to do this. But I found you don't even have to do the card switch in the open: I start by taking the credit card with the numbers out of my wallet, and use these numbers to force the number 15 as Craig describes in detail. I then put the credit card back in my wallet and take out my business card to reveal the number 15. (I use a pocket UV flashlight to magically display the otherwise hidden number.). I then go back to my wallet and take out the credit card without the numbers, put it in the spectators hand, pull out the Sharpie, and the trick is already done! And by the way, the numbers on the Sharpie are raised, just like on a credit card, making this truly impossible.
