Created and refined by Chaow, "Glass Pierce X" has gone viral online as an incredibly fooling piece of street magic. Now you can add it to your repertoire.

You draw a mark on one side of a piece of glass, and instruct your participant to place their hand on the other side. You do the same, covering the mark from your side. When you move your hand away, the mark is still there... but now it is on their palm!

No switches. No suspicious moves. Just a clean, visual transfer. It works on virtually any glass surface, so the moment can happen in real, everyday environments.

Beyond Glass
While the glass penetration is the signature moment, Glass Pierce X goes further. The gimmick allows for multiple variations, including:

I think the idea behind this trick is pretty great. The premises and the execution are definitely what I was hoping for; however, the "method" behind this trick lacks two major things that aren't properly explained in the tutorial. The first part is the method by which the spectator receives the mark; to put it bluntly, without giving too much away, the application method is similar to that of the trick Double Cross, but the application method is much worse and far more difficult. I just can't find a reason I would be carrying this gimmick around with me, and there is almost no explanation on how to put the gimmick away afterwards as well. The second issue is the visibility of the "effect". Although not visible in the tutorial and demo, you can clearly see a very bright remnant of the mark before the trick is executed, which makes it almost impossible to perform this trick. I genuinely think the idea is great, but if all you're getting is a poorly 3d printed gimmick with material that is blatantly visible throughout the performance, I would hold onto your money or better yet just stick with double cross because this release felt rushed and the gimmick needs a lot more work.

Don’t waste your money on this Doesn’t even work close to what is shown on the trailer and I’m annoyed because the potential with this is crazy could have been revolutionary but I don’t think products which aren’t compete or ready yet should be allowed to be sold as this will need the most ‘perfect conditions’ for it to work
