Darren asks: Hot Lite is such a huge improvement over Hot. Super easy to use, really reliable, great fun too and always gets gasps. I had the first one which had a remote, Hot Lite does not but is so stable and reliable now the lack of remote is a distant memory! Great utility device and much much improved! reasonably priced this time too, can you tell I like it ;)

Customer reviews for Hot Lite Ignition Sharpie
I love close up magic tricks with fire, and this caught my attention when it came out. It’s strange that the lite version came out a few months after the original version was released. Anyways, back to this one. The gimmick is well made. Although you cannot let your audience examine the sharpie, it looks just like a regular sharpie, and you can write with it as well. Audience can look at it from a distance, and maybe they can touch it for a few seconds without noticing anything. It comes with a one year warranty, but I wonder how you can replace that **thing** if it burns out. The tutorial is a bit short. It would be better for them to teach more routines and ideas. One thing that disappointed me (and that is why I only gave this product 4 stars) is that it doesn't have a remote control like the previous version. No idea why they no longer include it. I really want the magic to happen in people’s hands while I stand a few feet away from them. Oh, well. Maybe that is the reason why this version is cheaper than the old version. There are sharpies that shoot out fire balls on the market, but I like this one more. It is great to use in close up situation.
