If you are a fan of "puzzle-magic", and enjoy Jim Steinmeyer's Impuzzability series, you will certainly like this little book! A nice collection of simple "mind reading" effects to "amaze and amuse!" Are these real bafflers?? No. Are they fun and entertaining?? Yes, for sure. Could any of these act as an ice breaker or prelude to a more serious mental magic routine? Absolutely!! If any of the effects from the book were made larger and perhaps handed out to a group of spectators, and each of the spectators then followed the directions and ALL then ended up with the same answer, it would certainly be entertaining! To then proceed into something more "serious" would make sense. A great little book!
I bought this book because I am a big fan of Alexander Marsh. It really is a cool little addition to any library. At this price, you can't beat it.
I honestly didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Sure, magicians likely won't be "fooled" by the tricks. But that doesn't make them less entertaining. The whole family loved it. Son had a blast and wife read the whole thing in one night.
A fun little coffee table book. As a magician, people always come over to my house and expect to see magical things. This has worked great as a conversation starter.
Think of a less-than-satisfying Facebook Post where you click through a bunch of mediocre excersizes.That's what this book is.
