416 pages. 240 routines. One jam-packed book.

Card Foolers by Paul Gordon is a massive book featuring 240 new (or previously-unpublished) routines that nearly any magician can do and will use.

Dozens of the routines are sleight-free or very easy and the rest use standard sleights. There are no full-deck set-ups, no memorized deck effects and no routines using passes, false deals and other heavy sleights.

These are genuine foolers that Paul Gordon considers to be some of his best work ever. No filler material here.

In addition to card work, there's also a coin trick, a Himber Ring idea and a few number/matrix and anagram effects! Oh, and buyer beware, there's also a handful of naughty adult tricks.

Paul writes in an easily-digestible style with concise, detailed and clear instructions. Most tricks are described in just one page (often less). You can see more than 20 of them performed in the trailer.

Card Foolers contains a detailed sleights section but it is also assumed that readers will have at least a basic understanding of card magic. It doesn't matter what type of card magic you're into though, because there is definitely something in here for everyone. 240 powerful foolers will keep you occupied for a long time.

  • Morris asks: Who is the publisher? is this self published like Paul's books always were?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Self published
  • Mohammad Zubair asks: is there any gaff card pack that I could buy from vanishing using which i can perform all the tricks from the book? for example the matching back of the card effect? They are not necessarily gaff-ed, but it would be good to get a pack of cards that can be used to perform all the tricks from the book.

    • 1. Sydney answers: I don't know if this the best answer for this question since I am waiting for my copy to arrive. Based on the other Paul Gordon books I have, yes; however, majority of Paul Gordon's packet tricks could be constructed with spare cards you have at home. The only thing you might want to get you hands on is a bicycle rainbow deck, double backers, or double facers. If you still want the cards, check VI, Penguin, or Paul Gordon's Website(recommended).
