Customer reviews for Finding the Funny

Ryan's book teaches you to let go of your ego onstage, and create a welcoming environment for all audience participants. It is not just for magicians but for any performer who using audience volunteers. I know the knowledge I've gained from reading it will help me in my next performance.

Although I confess I haven't read this book, while I wait for it I will tell you that I saw him years ago at a Canadian convention, and I have followed his work since then. Ryan is a thoughtful, intelligent guy who writes extremely well. He thinks outside the box, and I am positive I'm going to love this book. VERY excited for it to arrive!

AMAZING information, and to my knowledge, nobody within magic has written about this slant of humor. A very important book for those looking to improve their comedy onstage.
