Isn’t this just Zero Matrix from the mid-2000s? But now with a special pad so it might (maybe) work?

Peculiar that it is offered as half dollar or dollar size coins. There appears to be no choice which is sent to you. Is this correct?

Hi Noah, You must use a black mat. The package includes a basic black one, and you’re free to swap in your own black mat, but a red mat can't.

I review effects here on behalf of amateur hobbyists. This one is fantastic. Easy to perform but there is some practice you will have to do; just the right balance. Richard Mo. has produced a terrific effect and video that explains everything clearly. His English is very good and he has an infectious enthusiasm for this illusion. Routines include a regular matrix, a "backfire" reverse matrix, and a coins-alone Devil Coins Across as a bonus. The bonus routine employs a classic palm (see other questioner about this). You get a complete kit that contains everything you need (including a small but serviceable black mat); NO arts-and-crafts needed (wheh!) I add a small but pivotal technical detail: a key to this illusion is the cards provided are TRANSLUCENT but NOT TRANSPARENT (should the name of the illusion be changed?). This property provides 100% cover for the "secret sauce" to operate. Well worth the price, fun, and portable. Perfect for kids between 7-70 years. Receives my highest recommendation.
