Mark Shortland will be known by many of you as the creator of the AmazeBox. What you may not know is that Mark is also a fantastic painter, with his own unique style. 53 Magicians Deck is his second deck of cards, created from his original artwork. Each card exhibits a different magician recognisable from either their costume or signature effect.
The artwork on the cards began on a large canvas, which was then scanned in high resolution in order to make this very special deck.
The unique back design incorporates each of the 53 names, repeated in a tesalated pattern. David Copperfield, Dynamo, Mac King, Penn and Teller, they are all there!
The deck contains 56 cards (52 playing cards, a joker, a picture showing all 53 magicians and two information cards explaining who each of the performers are).
