Army Men Playing Cards

Bring a little nostalgia to your next game with Army Men Playing Cards, a tribute to the “Little Green Men” that have filled toy boxes for more than 70 years.

Inspired by the classic 54mm molded figures made famous by pioneers such as Louis Marx and Tim Mee Toys, this deck transforms backyard skirmishes into a card-game design. It suits collectors, veterans, and fans of vintage Americana who want to bring the spirit of the infantry to the table.

Product features

• The Green vs. Tan conflict: Spades and Clubs represent the classic Green Army, while Hearts and Diamonds feature their long-standing rivals, the Tan Army.
• Iconic molded poses: Each face card is custom illustrated to replicate the authentic molded-plastic look of the original toys.
  • Kings: The commanders, depicted as officers with pistols and binoculars.
  • Queens: Tactical support, including radiomen and field medics.
  • Jacks: The specialists, including the iconic “Mine Sweeper” and the flamethrower.
  • Aces: Bold, oversized silhouettes of the classic standing rifleman and bazooka-man.
• Professional quality: The design celebrates “unbreakable” low-density polyethylene, while the cards themselves are printed on premium, casino-grade linen cardstock with an air-cushion-like finish for smooth shuffling and handling.
• The “oval base” detail: Every card face has a subtle border inspired by the classic plastic bases that kept your soldiers standing during living-room invasions.

Why you need this deck

Army Men Playing Cards captures the monochromatic charm of 1950s and ’60s playsets and adapts it for the modern tabletop. It makes a fitting gift for history buffs, tabletop gamers, and anyone who remembers the excitement of opening a fresh bag of soldiers. The cards are designed to withstand hours of “combat,” just like the rugged soldiers that inspired them.

Packaging and collectibility

The Army Men Playing Cards tuck box features a vintage-inspired “Header Card” design reminiscent of the polybagged sets found in five-and-dime stores decades ago. Inside, the Joker cards feature the rare “Grey” and “Blue” units, elusive factions that appeared only in the largest battlefield sets.

Fall in, soldier. The battle for the pot begins now!
