Dead Man's Deck: Unharmed Edition

Deck of cards by Vanishing Inc. (13.99)

In stock.

The Dead Man's Deck is one of our fastest-selling custom card projects ever. Now it's back in a more useful and usable edition. This deck celebrates Wild Bill Hickock, who was shot during a poker game in 1876. Each card in the pack has been aged and treated to look like cards used during the era of Wild Bill Hickock and his cohorts in Deadwood. The original version contained an actual bullet hole going all way through the cards. This made it an oddity and an unusual deck of collectors. But it also made it essentially unusable for card games and magicians. This edition eliminates this bullet hole; now it's a gorgeous, aged, but perfectly normal pack of cards.

Printed by Cartamundi on Slimline B9 stock, this deck feels perfect for gambling routines, displays, flourishes, and magic.

Same as the Armed version with the hole. I love all 2 versions, great quality and great design. I came up with a great story and combined all 2 decks of cards together for a breathtaking routine.

Love this deck. Feels like you’ve walked back in history. Deck handles beautifully and looks great. I’ll ordered a back up deck soon.

Beautifully smooth feel & authentic 'double index' presentation! A fab deck with a great backstory but no 'blood spattered Aces over eights'-this is a much more practical & usable set of playing cards of the highest order-nice one,Dave.

These cards are great! Feel and look is awesome. I wish I could afford more of them, but they are pretty pricey for a plain deck even if it is fancy. The only issue i have is with the description above. It contains this line " In this commemorative deck, the cards held in his hand are adorned with a smattering of blood." However, that is not the case with this version and should be removed from the description.
Great cards!!

I got to see an early version of these and they handle great. I've fallen in love with the B9 finish on the slimline stock. I actually think these are my favorite "aged" deck.

Finally!!!! I was hoping that they would release a version without a hole. Love these. Picked up an entire brick.
