These extremely limited edition State of Utopia Playing Cards have been completely crafted from scratch using inspiration from early 20th century Communist propaganda. Australia-based artist Shira Bentley and her team have masterfully crafted a fully-customized deck of cards that commemorates the supposed utopian vision of Communism while also warning of the potential pitfalls a quest for a “Perfect Society” can cause.
State of Utopia Playing Cards are printed on incredibly smooth and flexible 310gsm premium German linen stock. Each deck comes secured in a matching tuck case adorned with gold foil accents and a custom seal.
This deck of cards was created as a tribute to the grandeur of the heroic and romantic imagery used as Communist propaganda. It is a nod to the legacy of the artwork, but does not celebrate the ideology it represents. Enjoy this deck of cards but beware of the utopian philosophy.
