The Laetus is a deck that fulfills all of the requirements of both cardists and magicians. Not only that, this deck is perfect for collectors too, as it will never be reprinted!
The geometric back design of the Laetus is striking. Offering two different rear-fanning designs makes this deck not only visually exciting, but excellent for cardistry as well. We love cards that stand out, and these highly contrasting colors make the red really pop!
To ensure that your cardistry is mesmerizing from all angles, we put a center fanning design on the front of the deck. This also adds an extra flourish to magic tricks when spreading the deck.
We have hidden a Six of Spades reveal on one of the Jokers plus a duplicate Six of Spades, to make sure you are always ready when someone asks to see a trick.
While still being flashy, we think the tuck box is sophisticated and sensible, worthy of the top shelf in your card collection.

The 3 of hearts is supposed to be missing the red marks for a reveal. I take back my previous review. These have been my favorite deck to date. They have a unique feel, and have more features than most decks (dup 6, 6 reveal, 3h as mentioned).They feel like a virts deck, but a bit less flimsy. I was confused on my first review (see Anthony below) and completely take back everything. Seriously my fave borderless deck out there and I’m gonna get a brick on my next order!
As the other reviewer stated, these cards have a certain feel to them that could easily be described as weird, especially in comparison to the other Seers decks. While not my favorite Seers deck, it is an excellent deck with a great black and red color combo. The fans are beautiful and vary depending on the hold, and are excellent for flourishes and visual displays. The faces are custom and nowhere near standard, leading to some difficulty if playing a fast paced card game, but otherwise are totally usable for other games.
These cards are weird, but that is why I like them. They are fun to work with and give me a few different things to work with them because of the designs. The cards are really nice looking and a joy to use.
I just received mine and there's a printing error. The face up cards are supposed to have a red semicircle on the left and right sides, so that theres a red line when you fan/spread them. Well, my 3 of hearts doesn't have them. So there's this ugly gap in the red line when they're fanned. Total bummer. I've emailed Vanishing to see what they say, but we'll see if they will exchange/replace this deck.
