These cards are marketed as being cheap and cheerful, their very name being a giveaway, and as such they succeed. One of the cheapest decks I've bought this year. As far as I'm concerned they're designed for practising card tricks and if they get damaged etc then it doesn't matter. As a cartoonist myself I bought them because I liked the artwork on the cards and I think the minimalist use of red, black and white works very well with these characters. The red backs (and the design of the box) stand out really well. There are two jokers, a double-backer and a spare 3 of Diamonds. A fun deck at a good price which I believe is also available in blue.
I wanted to like these cards when I ordered them. The artwork is fantastic but that's about it. The deck is thicker than a normal bicycle deck and the cards have a plastic feel like cheap cards you get at the dollar store. They don't fan or faro. I wish they were USPCC or cartamundi standards.
