These seals are not self adhesive and must be applied with a heat sealer like the The Charlatan System and The Wonder Sealer.

These refills will give you excellent results IF--and that's an all-caps "IF"--you own the right sealing tools and know how to use them. I use a Wonder Sealer (basically a little electrically powered hotplate), which allows resealing most non-textured tuck boxes quite well, providing you have good eyesight and excellent finger dexterity plus a "third hand" at times (I use a rubber band) to hold things together in the beginning stages. If the tuck is at all "bumpy" or even moderately textured, simply pressing the cellophane to the surface will leave pronounced stippling and/or wrinkles, which only careful use of a heat gun or fairly powerful hair dryer can smooth out.
Bottom line: These refills will be useless to you without the tools and skills described above and may still prove somewhat "fussy" to use even then. However, the end result can be a resealed deck of playing cards that is virtually indistinguishable from brand-new if the cello is applied properly.
