An ingenious prediction system from 2022 FISM-winner HJ.

“Balloon Oracle” by HJ, in collaboration with Henry Harrius, is a marvelous piece of mentalism that effortlessly blends audience engagement with side-splitting humor and sheer astonishment. It’s strong, direct and easy to perform.

The routine begins with a lively and interactive game that gets many different audience members actively involved. You invite them to join you in a delightful rendition of “musical hot potato” that uses a balloon. All they have to do is keep passing the balloon along until the music stops.

Every time the music stops, the person holding the balloon gets to make a totally free choice as they help construct a randomly-generated playing card. Starting first with the color, then the suit, then the value. If you don’t want to use playing cards, “Balloon Oracle” can also be used with names, star signs or pretty much anything else you want to predict (even confabulation routines).

The last person holding the balloon is then invited on stage. When they shake the balloon, they’ll be stunned to discover that something has been hiding in plain sight inside the balloon the entire time.

You’d love to show them, but you have a slight phobia when it comes to popping balloons with your hand. So, you instead take out a magic wand and explain how you’ll make the balloon “vanish” in a magical way. As you say this, the cap on the wand is revealed to show a hidden sharp end that you can use to pop the balloon. A funny moment filled with natural humor.

As the balloon pops, a playing card (or a piece of paper) flutters to the ground. It is then fairly picked up to reveal a perfect prediction. This is a truly stunning moment that will leave everyone’s jaws on the floor.

HJ and Henry Harrius teamed up with manufacturing wizard Ochiu (the creative mind behind “Jumbo Coin Dropper”” and “Sponge Ball Dropper”) to create this masterful gimmick.

“Balloon Oracle” is a powerful and entertaining routine that both magicians and mentalists alike will love, and your audiences will love it too!

This is a good product. The props are well made and well thought out. Yes the wand is a little bulky, but is easily justified by anyone but the most "serious" performer. You can also use more than just playing cards with a little imagination.

This is a “good” release it’s really not practical for ease of use, but it does deliver on what they have advertised.

It’s a lot over pricing sh You be in the 69.99 area
